The versification rules of Kvlividze's poetry come from the national consciousness and character. The most evident mark of Kvlividze's lyric is laconism. His poetry is mainly based on the syllable-tonal versification.
The poetry of Kvlividze is rich with rhythms: feminine (two-syllable), dactyl (three-syllable), assonantic, dissonant, contiguous and crosswise rhythm types are met frequently.
In terms of versification the poet does not transgress the classical poetry traditions and writes with catren- the most overspread strophe in Georgian poetry.
