Creation of hagiographic and hymnographic materials on the St. Neophite of Urbnisi (lived in the second half of the 9^th century) is associated with Cathalikos Anton I. Anton established the Memory Day of this saint on October 28. He wrote Neophite's Rite in his Feast Hymn Book (S1464 161v-164r). In composing the Rite he stems from the Book of Miracles belonging to the one of Syrian Fathers, Shio of Mghvime. The Book reflects the basic events of Neophite's life and work.
