Based on the comparative analysis of old Georgian sources and conclusions released in the works of modern scientists author comes to the conclusion that the construction of Djvari temple was started by the Erismtavari of Kartli Guaram Kurapalat the Great in the time of Katalikos Samoel III at 575-582 A.D. and was completed at the time of Katalikos Kiron not later than 608 A.D.
