Search hints:

• What is searched in the general keyword search
  The word(s) you enter in the search box will be searched against the Titles, Authors, Subjects, Abstracts, Table Of Contents, Dates and Identifier fields of each item's record.
   
• Truncation
  Use an asterisk (*) after a word stem to get all hits having words starting with that root, for example:
  
  select* will retrieve selects, selector, selectman, selecting.
   
• Phrase Searching
  To search using multiple words as a phrase, put quotation marks (") around the phrase.

• Eliminate items with unwanted words
  Put a minus (-) sign before a word if it should not appear in the search results. This can limit your search to eliminate unwanted hits. For instance, in the search
  
  training -cat you will get items containing the word "training", except those that also contain the word "cat".
   
• Search by fields
  Place the name of a field and colon (:) before a word, if you want to search in determined for a field. You can search in following field names:
  
  title: - search in the Titles
  author: - search in the Authors
  subject: - search in the Subjects
  date: - search in the Dates
  lang: - search in the Languages by ISO 639-2 langiage codes
  
  title:training you will get items, which contain in Title a word "training".
  
  -title:training you will get items, which NOT contain in Title a word "training"
  
  title:"dog training" you will get items, which contain in Title a phrase "dog training".
