Rare Collections Reading Hall

Location: Building 1, 1st floor
Working hours: Monday through Friday from 09:30 to 18:00
Services: Essential collections and periodicals; basic library collections; essential reference-bibliographical collection; essential collection of the 19th century press; private collections and archive records; Bibles and theology collections. The Rare Collections Department is open for use by appointment only. All books, manuscripts and records are kept in a secure area and readers need to ask for a    specific item that is then brought out to them in the reading room. Materials are available for use at the discretion of library staff and may be restricted because of fragility/poor condition. Due to limited facilities and occasional high demand, it is important for everyone (including NPLG staff) to call ahead and make an appointment to work in the Rare Collections Department. If possible, it will help to let our staff know in advance, what you are planning to look at.
Limitation:
No access to special collections of other departments is available
