1981-82, he was an intern at La Scala Theatre (Milan). Khomeriki’s most distinguished solo parts are Abesalom, Malkhaz (Absalom and Eteri, Daisi by Z. Paliashvili), Berdo (Lela by R. Lagidze), Lenski, Vodemon (Eugene Onegin, Iolanta by P. Tchaikovsky, Don José (Carmen by G. Bizet), Cavaradossi (Toska by G. Puccini), Manrico, Radames, Alfred, Duke, Othello (Il Trovatore, Aida, La Traviata, Rigoletto, Otello by G. Verdi), etc.
Khomeriki has a strong, multifaceted voice. Since 1993, he has been Creative Director and soloist of Batumi Opera and Ballet Theatre (becoming Laureate of the Memed Abashidze Prize in 1995). He starred as Othello at the premiere in Ankara Opera Theatre (1995) and in Antalia (both in Turkey) during the tour of Batumi Opera Theatre, in 1998. Khomeriki was awarded the Order of Honour the same year.
