Organization Tbilisi Hamkari, with the support of Open Society Georgia Foundation, implements the project "My City, Your City, Our City", that aims to arouse interest of the young generation in urban culture, history and cultural heritage of Tbilisi.
Within the framework of the project, Tbilisi Hamkari plans to conduct series of lectures at the National Library.
The firs lecture will be delivered at the Auditorium of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 15 October 2012 at 18:00. Aleksandre Elisashvili, Head of organization Tbilisi Hamkari will give a speech on Tbilisi History of Toponymics from the Beginning to Today”
The lecture will concern the process of giving names to streets, squares, districts of Tbilisi and affecting factors during different stages in its history.
