National Parliamentary Library and Public Defender of Georgia Cooperate
National Parliamentary Library of Georgia is the only Library with special reading hall for disabled people. The recourses of the hall are not used completely, thus National Library looks for partners who will help increase access and full service provision for handicapped people. With this aim, Memorandum of Cooperation will be signed between the National Library and Public Defender of Georgia on 27 June at 17:00.
Permanent corner for Public Defender of Georgia will be opened at the National Library in the nearest future, displaying publications and reference materials issued by the Public Defenders Office. Within the framework of the memorandum, Public Defenders office will have access to exhibition and conference halls of the National Library. Joint scientific researches and exhibitions, conferences and discussions will be arranged. Parties will contribute to integration of ethnic, religious and other minorities in the society.
