The reconstruction of the 5th building of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia (63, Sulkhan Tsintsadze Street, former Book Chamber) is underway. The repair works will be finished soon, and properly preserved collections and renovated reading halls will be available to the National Library users.
On 27 March, Zaal Sarajishvili, the Deputy State Minister on Diaspora Issues, and Mirian Khositashvili, Deputy General Director of the National Library, arranged the presentation of the Diaspora Library at the Parliament of Georgia.

The National Library launches a new mega project Pirosmani. The aim of the project is to discover and collect digital versions of works by Georgian citizens preserved in families and organizations or published in different issues throughout Georgia.
