Paul Michael Taylor Donates Books to the National Library
Paul Michael Taylor, a professor and research anthropologist at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, Director of Asian Cultural History Program, donated his own books to the National Library.
The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia will announce Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award Nominees at the Exhibition Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 23 April at 15:00. The winners of Literary Essay Contest “Tsignieri” will also be announced during the event.
The reconstruction of the 5th building of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia (63, Sulkhan Tsintsadze Street, former Book Chamber) is underway. The repair works will be finished soon, and properly preserved collections and renovated reading halls will be available to the National Library users.
On 27 March, Zaal Sarajishvili, the Deputy State Minister on Diaspora Issues, and Mirian Khositashvili, Deputy General Director of the National Library, arranged the presentation of the Diaspora Library at the Parliament of Georgia.
