The library in Khikhadziri village has been restored with the joint help of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and Georgian Library Association. The library was closed down in 2012. Over 300 items added to the library fond.
The group of librarians from the National Library led by Levan Taktakishvili, Head of the National Library Recourses Department, pays a visit to Leuvill. In the near future, it is planned to open a new library on the basis of existing fond that later will be transformed into a Georgian Cultural Centre.
On 17 March, representative of the National Parliamentary Library together with Ilia Chavchavadze Charity Foundation will hand the books and a computer to Sagarejo Municipality Representation in the Village of Ninotsminda.
Foreign friends donated books to the National Library. Claire Won Kang is a famous floral designer of Korean origin who sent her book Wonness: The Art of Floral Collage to the Clair 2015 from the US. This valuable album shares different secrets of Floral Art.

On 10 February, at the initiative of the Publishing House Books in Batumi, Vake Mediathek hosted the presentation of a new novel titled ‘Two Adventures’ by Giorgi Kekelidze, General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.
On 5 February, Giorgi Kekelidze, the General Director of the National Library, together with the other representatives of the National Library visited and donated books to Chibati village library, Lanchkhuti Municipality. They also visited libraries in the nearby villages.
