The Chairman of the Parliament, David Usupashvili visited the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 1 March.

The General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia Giorgi Kekelidze will talk about rare editions from the collections of the library every Friday.

From 22 February to 20 April, database of Project MUSE will be available to the National Library Users

On 22 February, representatives of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia will visit Khashuri Municipality Library. Khashuri Library will join the National Library project “Electronic Development Syndicate of Georgia”.

Paul Michael Taylor, a research anthropologist at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, Director of Asian Cultural History Program, Curator of Asian, European, and Middle Eastern Ethnology visited the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 22 February. He has supported the National Library Anglo-American Reading Hall since its opening.

At the National Library the school “IB Mtiebi” implemented project “Library”, emphasizing importance and history of the library.

On 19 February, employees of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia will join the action „Donate Blood-Save the Life”, to help children with leukemia.

The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia opened the Georgian Library at Georgian Art House in Istanbul on 17 February. The project has been implemented under the aegis of “Rustaveli Club” and Georgian Publishing Houses (“Meridiani”, “Bakur Sulakauri Publishing”, “Elphi”, “Matsne” and “Diogene”).

NGO “Helping Hand” expressed gratitude to the National Library for contributing to reinforcing relations between the young people living in Tbilisi and conflict regions.
