დაიბადა ქ. ზუგდიდში. თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტისა და მოსკოვის I სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის აღზრდილი (დაამთავრა 1931 წელს). ფტიზიოქირურგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - „Верхняя торакопластика в сочетании с базальным исскуственным иневмотораксом на той же стороне“ (1940). საქართველოს სსრ ჯანმრთელობის დაცვის სამინისტროს ტუბერკულოზის სამეცნიერო-კვლევითი ინსტიტუტის ქირურგიული განყოფილების ხელმძღვანელი.
