დაიბადა ქ. ქუთაისში. 1924 წელს დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. გამოჩენილი მეან-გინეკოლოგი. დახელოვნდა გერმანიაში (ქ. ლაიპციგში) პროფ. რ. შრედერის კლინიკაში. პროფ. გ. ღამბარაშვილის მოწაფე. მეცნიერების დამსახურებული მოღვაწე, პროფესორი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - "ქალის სექსუალური ციკლი და მისი მოშლილობანი" (1937). თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის სამკურნალო ფაკულტეტის მეანობა-გინეკოლოგიის კათედრის გამგე.
