1868 წელს დაამთავრა მოსკოვის უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. ცნობილი თერაპევტი. პროფ. ს. ბოტკინის მოწაფე. თბილისის მიხეილის საავადმყოფოს ორდინატორი, თბილისის ქალაქის ექიმი, გამოჩენილი საზოგადო მოღვაწე, ქართველ ექიმთა და ბუნებისმეტყველთა საზოგადოების პირველი თავმჯდომარე (1916).
