Biography

დაიბადა დაბა მაიაკოვსკში. 1914 წელს დაამთავრა ნოვოროსიის (ოდესის) უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. ცნობილი ტროპიკოლოგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - „მალარია და მასთან ბრძოლა აფხაზეთის ასსრ-ში" (1950). პროფესორი, სახელმწიფო პრემიის ლაურეატი, საქართველოს სსრ დამსახურებული ექიმი, აფხაზეთში მალარიის წინააღმდეგ ბრძოლის ერთ-ერთი ორგანიზატორი. შეისწავლა პელაგრის გავრცელების მიზეზები და მისი მკურნალობა ნიკოტინის მჟავით.
