დაიბადა ქ. ქუთაისში. ვენის და ნოვოროსიის (ოდესის) უნივერსიტეტსბის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტის აღზრდილი (დაამთავრა 1913 წელს). ცნობილი მიკრობიოლოგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - „О некоторых признаках определяющих виды патогенных аннаскипорогенных дрожеподобных грибков, выделенных с поверхностных бластомикотических очагов“ (1948), საკანდიდატო სადისერტაციო შრომა - „Устоичивость и варианты trichopyhton vllaceum“ (1946). პროფესორი, სსრკ ჯანმრთელობის დაცვის სამინისტროს ექიმთა დახელოვნების ინსტიტიუტის მიკრობიოლოგიის კათედრის გამგე.
