დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის პედიატრიული ფაკულტეტი 1960 წელს.

1962 წელს იყო ჰოსპიტალური პედიატრიის კათედრის უფროსი ლაბორანტი; 1972–1996წწ. ამავე კათედრის ასისტენტი; 1996 წლიდან ამავე კათედრის დოცენტი. ავტორია 28 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის, ბავშვთა რევმატოლოგიის აქტუალური საკითხების შესახებ. ექიმი–პედიატრი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა - "ლეიკოციტების ფუნქციური აქტივობის განსაზღვრა რევმატიზმის დროს მკურნალობასთან დაკავშირებით", დაიცვა 1975 წელს.
