დაიბადა ქ. თბილისში. 1972 წელს დაამთავრა მოსკოვის მე-2 სამედიცინო და თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი. 1972-1973 წლებში მუშაობდა ქირურგად ქარელის საავადმყოფოში. 1973-1978 წლებში იყო თბილისის მე-2 საავადმყოფოს ანესთეზიოლოგ-რეანიმატოლოგი. 1978 წლიდან - მე-9 საავადმყოფოს ექიმი-ანესთეზიოლოგ-რეანიმატოლოგი, ასევე დიპლიმისშემდგომი განათლების სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო აკადემიის კლინიკაში ექიმ-ანესთეზიოლოგად. უმაღლესი კატეგორია.
