დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის პედიატრიული ფაკულტეტი 1978 წელს.

1979–1981წწ. სწავლობდა ასპირანტურაში, 1981 წლიდან ბავშვთა საავადმყოფოს N1 კათედრის ასისტენტია. ავტორია 28 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის. პედიატრი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა - "ჰეპატო–ბილიარული სისტემის მდგომარეობის თავისებურებათა შესწავლა ქრონიკული ქოლეცისტიტით დაავადებულ ბავშვებში ულტრაბგერითი სკანირების და რადიონუკლიდური კვლევის ავტომატიზირებული სისტემის გამოყენებით", დაიცვა 1998 წელს.
