დაბადების ადგილი: ქ. თბილისი.

დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი 1984 წელს.

1984 წლიდან ქირურგიის ინსტიტუტის თანამშრომელია; 1985–1987წწ. იყო მოსკოვის ბაკულევის სახელობის გულ–სისხლძარღვთა ინსტიტუტში; 1990–1991წწ. ამერიკის შეერთებულ შტატებში დებორას გულისა და ფილტვების ცენტრში. ავტორია 32 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის. ანესთეზიოლოგ–რეანიმატოლოგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი, ანესთეზიოლოგიის და რეანიმაციის განყოფილების გამგე.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა - "არტერიული ჰიპერტენზის მექანიზმების ხელოვნური სისხლის მიმოქცევის პირობების შემდეგ", დაიცვა მოსკოვში 1989 წელს.
