დაბადების ადგილი: ქ. თბილისი.

დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი 1946 წელს.

1948–1954 წლებში მუშაობდა მოსკოვში, ა. ვ. ვიშნევსკის სახელობის ქირურგიის ინსტიტუტში 1954–1973 წლებში თბილისის ექიმთა დახელოვნების სახელმწიფო ინსტიტუტში სხვადასხვა თანამდებობაზე. 1974–1978 წლებში იყო თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის ქირურგიის კათედრის გამგე. ზურაბ ზოდელავას სამეცნიერო შრომები ეხება ზოგადი ქირურგიის აქტუალურ საკითხებს. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი(1972), პროფესორი(1975). ქირურგი.
