1969–1972წწ. იყო სოფელ რუხის საუბნო საავადმყოფოს ექიმი; 1974–1981წწ. თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის თვალის სნეულებათა კათედრის უფროსი ლაბორანტი; 1981–1988წწ. კათედრის ასისტენტი; 1988 წლიდან კათედრის დოცენტი. ავტორია 34 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის, ეკუთვნის ერთი რაციონალიზატორული წინადადება, ხელმძღვანელობს სტუდენტთა სამეცნიერო თემების მომზადებას. ოფთალმოლოგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.
