Biography

დაიბადა სოფელ ჩხორიაში (ზუგდიდის რაიონი). 1931 წელს დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი. ცნობილი ნეიროქირურგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - "კაუზალგიის სინდრომი და მისი ქირურგიული მკურნალობა" (1945), საკანდიდატო დისერტაცია - "ქრონიკული სპინალური მენინგიტები და მათი ქირურგიული მკურნალობა" (1937). პროფესორი, საქართველოს სსრ მეცნიერებათა აკადემიის წევრ-კორესპონდენტი, ნეიროქირურგიის ფუძემდებელი საქართველოში.
