დაიბადა ქ. გორში. 1912 წელს დაამთავრა ვენის უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. ცნობილი ტროპიკოლოგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი (ხარისხი მიეკუთვნა დისერტაციის დაუცველად - საქართველოში მალარიის ლიკვიდაციაში დიდი დამსახურებისთვის). დოცენტი (1935). შესრულებული აქვს შრომები ლეიშმანიოზზე, ბრუცელოზზე, სპრუზე და სხვა ტროპიკულ ავადმყოფობებზე.
