Biography

დაიბადა სოფელ ჯგილათში (თერჯოლის რაიონი). 1914 წელს დაამთავრა ნოვოროსიის (ოდესის) უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. მედიცინის დოქტორი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - „ადამიანის მსხვილი ნაწლავის ეპითელის და კუნთოვანი შრის მორფოლოგიისათვის" (1928). პროფესორი, მეცნიერების დამსახურებული მოღვაწე. თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის ჰისტოლოგიის კათედრის გამგე. პირველი ქართული სახელმძღვანელოების ავტორი ჰისტოლოგიაში, ემბრიოლოგიაში, მიკროსკოპულ ტექნიკაში.
