Biography

დაიბადა სოფელ ბერშუეთში (გორის რაიონი). 1881 წელს დაამთავრა ხარკოვის უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. გამოჩენილი პირველი ქართველი ოფთალმოლოგი. დახელოვნდა ხარკოვის უნივერსიტეტის სამკურნალო ფაკულტეტის თვალის სნეულებათა კლინიკაში, პროფ. ლ. გირშმანის მოწაფე. ოფთალმოლოგიის საქმის ფუძემდებელი საქართველოში, თბილისის თვალის საავადმყოფოს დირექტორი, კავკასიის სამედიცინო საზოგადოების აქტიური წევრი.
