დაიბადა ქ. ქუთაისში. დაამთავრა ვოლგოგრადის სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი.1973-1986 წლებში იყო ჰოსპიტალური ქირურგიის კათედრის კლინიკური ორდინატორი, ასისტენტი; 1987-1994 წლებში - თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის პედიატრიული ფაკულტეტის ქირურგიის კათედრის ასისტენტი; 1994 წლიდან - რცკს ზოგადი ქირურგიის განყოფილების გამგე; ამჟამად მუშაობს გიდმედში - ზოგადი ქირურგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი. უმაღლესი კატეგორიის ქირურგი. აქვს 29 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომი.
