დაიბადა ქ. ქუთაისში. 1975 წელს დაამთავრა სიმფეროპოლის სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი (უკრაინა). 1975-1978 წლებში იყო უბნის ექიმი-პედიატრი - ქ. პუტივილი, უკრაინა. 1978-1980 წლებში - ქუთაისის ლენინის რაიონის მთავარი ექიმის აპარატის ექიმი ინსპექტორი; 1980 წლიდან ქუთაისის სარაიონთაშორისო ფსიქონევროლოგიური დისპანსერის უბნის ექიმი-პედიატრი;
