მუშაობდა კლინიკური და ექსპერიმენტული კარდიოლოგიის ინსტიტუტში; შემდეგ ხელმძღვანელობდა კლინიკურ-ფუნქციონალურ ლაბორატორიას ი. ჟორდანიას სახელობის ადამიანის გენერაციული ფუნქციის ინსტიტუტში; 1972 წლიდან კი ქირურგიის ინსტიტუტშია; იყო მრავალი საკავშირო და საერთაშორისო კონფერენციებისა და სიმპოზიუმების მონაწილე; ავტორია 50-ზე მეტი სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის. სადოქტორო დისერტაცია, დაიცვა 1972 წელს. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი, პროფესორი.
