დაამთავრა ორენბურგის სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი 1964 წელს.

1982 წლიდან იყო თბილისში სისხლძარღვთა ქირურგიის რესპუბლიკური ცენტრის ხელმძღვანელი, 1988–1990წწ. სსრკ–არაბეთის ერთობლივი წარმოების სამეცნიერო–პრაქტიკული და სასწავლო ცენტრის "ანგიოს" გენერალური დირექტორი. ქირურგ–ანგიოლოგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი(1985), პროფესორი(1985).
