დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი კვალითი, ზესტაფონის რაიონი.

დაამთავრა თბილისის სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი 1931 წელს.

1941-1945 წლებში იყო საველე და ევაკოჰოსპიტალების წამყვანი ქირურგი. 1961 წელს დაინიშნა გ. მუხაძის სახელობის ჰემატოლოგიისა და სისხლის გადასხმის სამეცნიერო-კვლევით ინსტიტუტში დირექტორის მოადგილედ სამეცნიერო დარგში. იკვლევდა ჰემატოლოგიის, ტრანსფიზიოლოგიის, დამწვრობის, სხივური დაავადებების საკითხებს. ც. მაკალათიასთან ერთად შექმნა პლაზმის გასაშრობი ახალი ავტომატური აგრეგატი. ქირურგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი(1959), პროფესორი(1960)
