დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის სან. ჰიგიენის ფაკულტეტი 1987 წელს.

1987 წლიდან არის დაავადებათა ეროვნული ცენტრის ექიმი. ავტორია 15 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომისა, რომლებისც ეხება ლეგიანელისის, იერსინებისა და ზოგიერთ საშიშ ინფექციებს. ეპიდემიოლოგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა -"ლეგიონელოზის ეპიდემიოლოგია, კლინიკური ფორმები და ლაბორატორიული დიაგნოსტიკა საქართველოში", დაიცვა 1995 წელს.
