Biography

ცნობილი ქართველი მეწარმე, მეორე გილდიის ვაჭარი ნიკოლოზ სესიაშვილი, კარდანახში ფლობდა ვენახს, ღვინის ქარხანას და მარანს, სადაც აწარმოებდა კახურ წითელ და თეთრ ღვინოებს. მათ შორის გამოირჩეოდა ღვინო "კარდანახი". ეს ღვინოები მოწონებით სარგებლობდა როგორც საქართველოში, ასევე რუსეთის მთელ იმპერიაში.

ნიკოლოზის საქმის ღისეული გამგრძელებელი იყო მისი ვაჟი, ივანე სესიაშვილი. 1900 წელს, პარიზის საერთაშორისო გამოფენაზე, ივანე სესიაშვილის ღვინო "კარდანახმა" ოქროს მედალი და დიპლომი დაიმსახურა.
