Biography

1876 წელს გერმანელმა შოტემ ქუთაისში სარდაფი ააშენა, სადაც ცქრიალა ღვინოების წარმოება მოაწყო და იმერეთში გავრცელებული ვაზის ჯიშებისაგან – ციცქა, ძელშავი და ცოლიკაური – ღვინოები დაამზადა. ღვინოებმა საყოველთაო მოწონება დაიმსახურა. შოტეს წარმოება, თავისი მასშტაბებით, საკმაოდ სოლიდური იყო და მის მიერ წლიურად ჩამოსხმული 20 000 ბოთლი მთლიანად ქართულ ბაზარზე იყიდებოდა.

1884 წელს საწარმო კონსტანტინე ოლდენბურგმა შეიძინა.
