incidence matrix - the incidence matrix of a graph G (composed of a finite number of enumerated edges and vertices) is the matrix whose (i, j)th entry is 1 if the ith vertex is incident on the jth edge, and is 0 otherwise. If G is a directed graph, nonzero entries of the incidence matrix of G are +1 and -1 if the edge is oriented away or toward the vertex, respectively. Isomorphic graphs have incidence matrices that differ only by a permutation of rows and columns. ;
