cc - carbon copy
An option in most e-mail programs, it allows you to send duplicate copies of an e-mail message. When you type a recipient's e-mail address in the cc field, it is viewable to everyone who receives the e-mail message (as opposed to a bcc or "blind" carbon copy recipient).
