
The Public Relations and Cultural Programs Department of the National Library of Georgia organizes events both on the initiative of the Library and in response to requests from individuals and external organizations.
The National Library regularly hosts a wide range of cultural and educational activities, including: Book presentations; Exhibitions Conferences and scientific forums; Anniversary events; Public lectures; Poetry evenings; Film screenings; Cultural discussions and forums.
The Library is also open to hosting discussions on economic, social, and political topics.
Event Venues.
The National Library offers five fully equipped halls for event organization: Exhibition Hall; Conference Hall; Independence Hall; Exhibition Hall of Georgian Writing; Rezo Gabriadze Cinema Hall (Auditorium)
Holding events at the National Library, as well as audio, video, and photo recording on library premises, is subject to a service fee.
• Any individual or organization may organize an event in the Library’s halls by submitting an official application.
• All applications must be addressed to the Director General of the Ilia Chavchavadze National Library of Georgia.
• The Library administration reviews each request and makes a decision based on: Feasibility, Relevance, Compliance with the Library’s mission, goals, and institutional priorities.
The National Library prioritizes cultural, educational, and scientific events.
Special provision for book presentations: For the purpose of book promotion, the applicant may be provided with one of the Library’s halls free of charge, exclusively for the presentation of their own book published in the same year as the application.

Procedure for Requesting an Event
If you wish to organize an event at the National Library, please follow these steps: Contact the Public Relations Department in advance; Select: An available date (excluding weekends); A hall; Submit a formal written application addressed to the Director General of the National Library.
The application must include: Name of the organization (university, foundation, institution, etc.); Title of the event; Topic/theme; Selected date and time; Name and signature of the responsible person; Contact information.
The application must be submitted to the Chancellery Department of the National Library.
