Gekhtman Readin Room offers the readers efficient services by using the reference-searching system of the Library. These are electronic catalogues and databases, reference-bibliographical book collections, subject directories, dictionaries and encyclopedias.

Electronic databases of well-known scientific publications are also available and there are Internet resources and collections of Georgian legislation and the legal acts program "Codex”. The necessary information may be recorded on data storage device (CD, Floppy disk, USB) upon request.

The information services and assistance with bibliographical consultations include:

• How to search for the necessary literature 
• How to obtain precise information about a book, an author or an article 
• Where and how to use the electronic resources of the library, alphabetic and system catalogues
• How to get information about elaboration, and to format a list of literature of term papers, scientific works, etc. 
• How to get thematic, methodical, precise and other information 
• How to use catalogues, directories or reference-bibliographical publications.
