The prominent Georgian writer Guram Odisharia held an inspiring meeting with fourth-grade students from the Georgian-American High School at the National Library’s Exhibition Hall.
The event took place against the backdrop of the ongoing exhibition, "The Writer at the Easel," a fitting setting as Guram Odisharia himself is featured in the project as one of the featured authors who also paint.
During the session, the writer shared personal stories about Abkhazia, his relationships and experiences with the Abkhazian people, and his creative process. He spoke to the children about his favorite authors and literary characters, the meaning of homeland and patriotism, and his hopes for the future. After an engaging Q&A session, the author signed autographs for all the young guests. In return, the students presented their favorite writer with a special gift—a portrait they had created of him.
