Meeting at the National Library
 20/05/2013

On 20 May, the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Integration arranges the meeting on ‘Intercultural Dialogue’.

The aim of the meeting is to popularize and represent cultural-intellectual heritage of the people of non-Georgian origin living in Georgia.

The National Library collections and archives contain historical materials reflecting life and work of representatives of different ethnic groups. Popularization of those is very important for studying and researching the past of the country especially for the young generation.

In Georgia there are various ethnic communities, NGOs and diasporas retaining their culture, language, and traditions. We aim at fostering and encouraging the actions contributing to the maintenance of their cultural heritage.
