Presentation of Translations Collection (1914-1974) by famous translator Givi Gachechiladze will be held at the Conference Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 29 January 2013 at 17:00.

The majority of these have been edited and annotated here for the first time with more than 4,800 original editorial notes.

Together with the old translations, well known to the public, the poems by Givi Gachechiladze written in 1929-1949 are compiled in the book. The majority of these have been published here for the first time.

Biographical essay containing unpublished photos is attached to the book. The collection has been compiled and edited by translator’s son professor Revaz Gachechiladze, who is also the author of the essay.
