The exhibition titled “Books about Georgia” was held at the Independence Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia. The Georgian National Book Centre handed over to the National Library about 750 publications in different languages. The publications were on display at Frankfurt Book Fair where Georgia participated as the Guest of Honour 2018. The publications will be preserved in the archival collection of national bibliography. More than 300 foreign publications of the collection are printed with the support of the Georgian National Book Centre and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia.

Over 250 works by Georgian authors translated into 30 languages were published by 155 foreign publishers. The works include translations of various genres of Georgian literature (prose, poetry, documentaries, illustrated books, art books, children's fiction), modern and ancient Georgian literature, hagiography, photocopies, publications on Georgian culinary, architecture, interior design, folklore, Georgian history, culture, etc. The collection also includes books published by independent foreign publishers around the world on Georgian literature and on Georgia in general.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Georgia Michael Fabre and the Director of the French Institute of Georgia Pierre Clue.
