Opening of a new book depository of the National Library of Switzerland was celebrated in Bern on August 20, 2009.

The new high-tech depository is located at the depth of 27 meters.

The opening ceremony was attended by the representatives of the European national libraries. The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia was represented by its General Director Mr. Boris Gagua.
