The Association “Kvali”, namely, Shota Vashakidze, the Head of the Association, handed to the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia archives and books of Georgian emigrants to the United States.
Shota Vashakidze has been collecting the materials through years and after negotiations the National Library arranged transfer of the whole collection (more than three tones) to Georgia. The archive is the largest of the emigration collections.
The National Library and Association “Kvali” are planning to cooperate in the direction of sorting of the archival materials in the future. After cataloging, individuals will have access to the materials.
Projects concerning emigration materials are implemented with the cooperation between the National Library and TBC bank.
