Giorgi Kekelidze, General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, Levan Taktakisvhili and Maia Simonishvili, representatives of the library visited the family of Alexander Manvelishvili in the town Aurora (Colorado, the USA).

Peter and Pavel Manvels, sons of the famous Georgian public person and political leader agreed to gift the precious archive materials of their father to the National Library. The whole archive will be placed in the renewed emigration hall (with support of the TBC bank) of the library. All materials will be available to Georgian scientists, historians, students and readers.

"It is very emotional and historical day. After our important meeting with Dr. Heyden, the Librarian of the Congress, we decided to visit the family of Georgian emigrants. Many Georgian researchers have dreamed to see the archive of Alexander Manvelishvili.
