Employees of around 30 libraries were awarded Information Management Summer School Certificates at the Exhibition Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 15 July 2010 at 15:00.

Librarians from different countries completed a two-week Information Management Course at Ilia University within the framework of the Tempus Project, the goal of which is to develop Information Science in Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan.

The course was conducted by experts from Barcelona, Parma and Thames Valley Universities as well as the Rezekne Higher Education Institution, comprising the following subjects: Access to Digital Libraries, Marketing Library and Information Services, Information Architecture, Digital Preservation, Document Management and Systematization.
