The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia has signed memorandums with various educational organizations including language courses and training centers. The memorandums envisage bilateral cooperation between the National Library and these institutions. Within the framework of the memorandum, the National Library provides the organizations with its halls and collections free of charge; in turn the educational organizations contribute to the National Library staff qualification development.
Within the memorandums, the National Library employees have taken certified courses in public relations and event management and general management specialties at the Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). Currently, several employees have been improving language skills at the English Language Center, at Goethe Institute, at the French Institute of Georgia. With the support of the Embassy of Turkey to Georgia, several staff members have been given classes of basic course of Turkish.
Soon eight employees of the National Library will take certification training courses at the Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) and the International Black Sea University.
The National Library plans to continue cooperation in this direction with other organizations in the future.
