November 10, 2009. At the conference hall of the NPLG, the Head of the Board of the Polish Foundation for Economic Education Jan Krol delivered a public speech. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Georgia and the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

The topic was The Polish Way to the European Union.

Jan Krol: a member of Solidarity (Polish Trade Union) movement in 1980-1989; a member of the Polish Sejm in 1989-2001; served as a Vice-Marshal of the Sejm in 1997-2001.

Jan Krol is presently a strategic consultant at Ernst&Young, the member of BCC board, Deputy Head of Supervisory Board of the Local Democracy Development Foundation and the Head of the Polish Foundation for Economic Education.

The NPLG together with the Embassy of Republic of Poland are planning to continue their collaboration in the fields of culture, science and education.
