On May 15, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between the National Library of Georgia and the State Security Academy. The document was executed by Konstantine Gamsakhurdia, General Director of the National Library, and Sofio Abulashvili, Head of the State Security Academy.

"This document outlines our commitment to joint educational, scientific, research, and cultural activities, as well as the sharing of knowledge and resources for the mutual development of both institutions. For the National Library, it is a distinct honor to collaborate with an educational institution that trains professional personnel for the state security system. Security is one of the most fundamental pillars of any state's existence, development, and sovereignty. I am confident that the cooperation between our two institutions will be highly successful, fruitful, and long-lasting," stated Konstantine Gamsakhurdia.
