The General Director of the National Library, Giorgi Kekelidze, and the President and Executive Director of the Company Geocell, Pasi Koistinen, will sign the Memorandum of Understanding at the Exhibition Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 14 March, at 11:00.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the National Library and Geocell launch a new project with the main message: “Create Digital Photo Chronicles Together”, aiming at searching, digitalization and archiving of photos scattered throughout different regions of Georgia.

We will search for important unique photos, documents, and post cards, unknown to the public, mostly preserved in families in different regions of Georgia.

The National Library, using its own resources, will take part in searching and collecting of photos, as well as in digitalization and posting on the internet, with the help of its own resources.  

We invite everyone willing to create digital photo chronicles together with the National Library and Geocell.
